dr. ir. Amaury de Hemptinne

Amaury de Hemptinne is a post-doctoral scientist since March 2023 working in the µFlow Cell at the VUB. He graduated in 2012 as a Master in Bioengineering Sciences with a specialization in Chemistry and Bio-industry. After 5 years in the chemical industry, he started a PhD in 2019 at VUB under supervision of prof. Wim De Malsche.

His research is focused on microfluidic approaches offering unique opportunities, from functional microparticles production to particle and crystal control in microchannel using flow, magnetism and acoustics.
