dr. Ilyesse Bihi
Biography
Ilyesse Bihi is a research scientist working in the µFlow Cell at the VUB. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Lille University, France, and obtained his master degree in 2012. In 2016, he received a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Florida, for research into the transport of ellipsoidal particles in the vicinity of walls under the guidance of Jason E Butler. He also received a PhD in Micro-Nanotechnology from Lille University for research into the microparticles removal from surfaces in single and multiphase flows under the guidance of Farzam Zoueshtiagh. He then did a post-doctoral training at the University of Technology of Compiègne, Sorbonne Universities, France, before joining. the µFlow Cell, in 2019. Since then, he has been focusing on building and designing innovative technologies such as production of highly drug loaded microparticles or the ground-breaking new technology of Vortex Chromatography.
